The headline feature on the Osmo Mobile 8P isn't the stabilisation upgrade or the tracking system. It's the FrameTap remote, a detachable controller with a built-in display that lets you monitor and adjust framing without touching your phone. If you shoot solo video on a gimbal, you know the problem: you're always guessing what the back camera sees. The FrameTap solves that without a second operator. Useful for content creators doubling as their own camera department. US shooters can't buy it anyway thanks to ongoing FCC headaches, and Australian pricing is unconfirmed. Launches globally May 7.
