I'm Back Roll APS-C Digital Back Hits $830k on Kickstarter

Eight hundred grand on Kickstarter means a lot of photographers still have film bodies they'd rather not retire. The I'm Back Roll drops an APS-C sensor into your old SLR or rangefinder, Leica M included, and the funding numbers tell you this isn't a fringe hobby play. The catch is what it's always been with crowdfunded camera hardware: shipping is not the same as promising. If you've got a Leica M or classic SLR collecting dust, it's worth watching. If you need it for a job next month, it doesn't exist yet.
