This concept has been 'almost ready' since the Silicon Film era of 1999 — and I'm Back is still asking for your money before the circuit board, battery, or Bluetooth trigger actually exist. If you shoot film and have dreamed of a drop-in digital sensor the size of a 35mm cartridge, this is the closest anyone's come — but closest still isn't close enough to bet on yet.
