But the blue whale footage does one useful thing: it shows the Mavic 4 Pro's dual telephoto system holding a clean frame at genuine wildlife distances, the kind of standoff that matters when your subject weighs 150 tonnes and the ethical (and legal) floor is 'don't get close.' Wildlife and nature drone shooters who've been stuck cropping from a single wide lens should pay attention to what that telephoto reach actually looks like in motion before dismissing this as just another brand video.
