DJI's own social feed is showing off how far you can crop a 100MP Hasselblad shot from the Mavic 4 Pro before detail falls apart. The answer, per their clip: pretty far. This is marketing content, not a peer test, so don't treat it as gospel. But 100MP aerial capture is genuinely useful if you're doing infrastructure, real estate, or survey work where the client wants a tight detail pulled from a wide frame. If you're already pricing jobs that way, the Mavic 4 Pro deserves a proper look. If you're shooting weddings from the air, you'll never need this much resolution.
