The megapixel arms race sells cameras. It doesn't improve most photographers' work. For event, corporate, or editorial shooters, a faster, cleaner 24MP file will outperform a bloated 50MP one in low light, on tight deadlines, and across storage costs you're quietly absorbing every job.
