Before you spec your next body upgrade around a bigger pixel count, ask yourself: what's the largest print you delivered last quarter, and who actually asked for it? The megapixel arms race sells cameras. It doesn't improve most photographers' work. For event, corporate, or editorial shooters, a faster, cleaner 24MP file will outperform a bloated 50MP one in low light, on tight deadlines, and across storage costs you're quietly absorbing every job.
