Panasonic's imaging EVP just put MFT doubts to rest — new Micro Four Thirds products are confirmed in development, and an LX100 III is being floated as a real possibility. For anyone shooting events or travel with the GH6 or G9 II ecosystem, this is the clearest signal yet that Panasonic isn't quietly sunsetting MFT in favour of full-frame L-mount. The LX100 line — a large-sensor compact with a proper zoom — has been dormant since 2019, and a third generation would land in a market starved of serious fixed-lens alternatives to the Sony RX100 VII.
