The L10 is the LX100 update Panasonic should have shipped five years ago. Phase-detection AF, a flipping screen, and a current-gen processor finally make this a credible working camera rather than a nostalgia purchase. Yes, it's grown in size and price, but if you've been using an LX100 II for event coverage, run-and-gun video, or travel where you can't bring a full kit, the gap between what that camera could do and what this one can is significant. The Leica D-Lux 9 speculation is exactly that, speculation from a pattern, not a confirmed announcement. Don't let it factor into your buying decision today.
