If your color shots look technically fine but somehow flat, the problem probably isn't your color — it's that color has been doing heavy lifting your composition shouldn't need. Forcing yourself into monochrome for a few weeks exposes exactly where you've been leaning on a saturated sky or warm tones to carry an image that has no real structure underneath.
