Texture overlays are a legitimate mood tool — but most photographers either overdo them or never learned to stack them properly. The non-destructive part is what actually matters here: if you're flattening layers to apply texture, you're locking yourself out of future adjustments. Worth a skim if blending modes still feel like guesswork.
