Thypoch moving into AF zooms is the real story here — if their glass quality translates from primes to a zoom, Sony shooters could have a genuinely competitive alternative to Sony's own 24-50mm f/2.8 at a fraction of the price. Worth watching, but hold off until we see real-world AF performance data.
