If the 85mm EVO was Viltrox's proof of concept, this 55mm f/1.8 is where it gets practical — a walkaround prime at a price point that makes native glass look hard to justify. Worth a serious look for Z-mount and E-mount shooters who don't want to spend Sony or Nikon money for an everyday fast prime.
