A Kickstarter tripod that mounts without touching the ground is a genuinely different idea, but Kickstarter camera support gear has a long history of solving problems nobody had. Worth a bookmark if you shoot in locations where floor placement is restricted or impossible. Not worth a dollar until it ships to real photographers and survives a full day on an actual job.
