Why You Can't Use Base ISO in Log: Explained

Log profiles and base ISO don't play nice together, and most cameras won't let you force it. The reason matters: log pulls the exposure curve hard enough that shooting at true base ISO leaves you with a signal too thin to hold in post. Your camera isn't being difficult.
