Wiki Loves Monuments is one of the world's largest open photography competitions, and the top shots from this edition are worth a look if architectural and heritage work is anywhere near your practice. Iran takes three of the top five spots, which says something about the depth of photographic talent coming out of that region right now. Not actionable for your next job, but worth five minutes if you shoot built environments or need a reminder of what strong compositional restraint looks like in documentary work.
