Canon has registered two cameras in Asia under model numbers DS126986 and DS126991, per Photo Rumors, pushing the total of unannounced Canon registrations since April 2026 to five. Canon Rumors believes DS126986 is an EOS R interchangeable-lens model due by January 4, 2027, and DS126991 a budget PowerShot due by January 18, 2027. No specs confirmed for either.
