Canon R50/R10 shooters have always had to compromise on native prime options — if these optical designs make it to production, that changes. An RF-S 10mm F2.8 would be a genuine ultrawide street and architecture tool on crop, equivalent to roughly 16mm full-frame, and small enough to actually use. Worth watching, but optical filings are pre-announcement territory — don't cancel anything yet.
