The real insight here is knowing which jobs call for controlled aberration over clinical sharpness: skin tones, candlelit interiors, and anything where you're chasing mood over resolution. A century-old lens won't touch a Sigma Art for technical performance, but it might save you an hour in post trying to take the edge off one.
