CODEX, the company behind ARRI's proprietary recording media, is now selling CFexpress 4.0 cards direct to the broader market in Type A (256GB–1TB) and Type B (512GB–2TB), each in Excel and higher-endurance Elite tiers. The Type B Elite 2TB is VPG1600-certified with 2800MB/s sustained write and 2400TBW endurance; Type A Elite carries VPG400 and VPG800. A USB4 reader handles both card types and transfers up to 5000MB/s. USD pricing starts at $331 and reaches $1,541, with the reader at $276.
