GoPro invented a category, then watched two better-funded competitors dismantle it piece by piece. A formal sale or merger review is not a pivot strategy. It's a distress signal. For working photographers who use GoPro for behind-the-scenes, POV, or adventure work, the practical question is whether long-term firmware support and accessory availability survive whatever comes next. DJI buying them would be the tidiest outcome. Anyone else buying them is a gamble on a brand with a shrinking user base and a balance sheet that's getting harder to defend.
