GoPro Merges with Starman Optical, Pivots to Defense and Aerospace

GoPro has agreed to merge with Starman Optical in a $285 million deal, with the combined company shifting focus toward defense, government, robotics, and aerospace markets. Existing consumer products and the subscription platform will continue to be supported, but the company has stopped short of committing to new consumer cameras.
