Insta360 Mic Pro Leaks: 32-Bit Float, Timecode, 400m Range

The spec that actually matters here isn't the 400m range. It's the timecode. Less than one frame of drift over 24 hours in a wireless mic at this price tier would solve a real headache for run-and-gun shooters doing multi-camera interviews or event work without a dedicated audio department. The DJI Mic 2 is good, but timecode sync isn't its strong suit. If Insta360 ships this with genuine Timecode Pro accuracy, they're not just competing on specs, they're competing on workflow. The 32-bit float and 32GB storage are table stakes at this point. The timecode is the differentiator. Still leaked, not confirmed pricing, not shipping. File it for later.
