Crowdfunding projects live and die on whether they actually ship, and most don't. The one worth watching here is the I'm Back Roll digital back sensor, which clips onto film cameras and gives you a digital sensor behind the film plane. Nearly $900K raised on a $6K goal means there's clearly appetite for hybrid shooting. But that appetite has been there for years, and plenty of similar projects have taken the money and gone quiet. Keep an eye on it, back it if you're an early adopter with patience, but don't cancel your film scanner subscription just yet.
