Sony APS-C shooters have a new lightweight 56mm f/1.7 option from Meike, and the pitch is simple: fast portrait prime, minimal weight, price that won't hurt. If you're running a ZV-E10 or an A6700 for run-and-gun work or second-body portraits, this is the kind of lens worth watching. The 56mm equivalent sits at a proper 84mm on APS-C, which is a useful focal length that Sony's own lineup doesn't cover cheaply. Tamron and Sigma own this space right now, but Meike is chipping away at it from below on price. Worth checking the final street price before dismissing it.
