MultiDyne Acquires MRMC, Forms New Robotics Division

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has acquired the assets of MRMC, the camera robotics and motion control company that Nikon previously owned, and has set up a new division called MultiDyne Robotics & Motion Control to carry the brand forward. MultiDyne, a 50-year-old US company specialising in fiber-optic signal transport for broadcast, says the two product lines have no overlap. MRMC gear remains in production under the new entity.
