New York City's Mayor Zohran Mamdani has put forward a proposal that would require landlords and brokers to flag when rental listing photos have been created or altered with AI. It's part of a 23-point Rental Ripoff Report, so it's got a long way to go before it becomes enforceable, but real estate photographers are the ones who'd end up holding the line if it does. Worth watching if you shoot property commercially, especially as similar disclosure conversations are starting to pop up in other markets.
