Pentax/Ricoh Roundup: New DSLR Confirmed, GR IV Stock Update

Ricoh has confirmed again it is not walking away from SLRs, with CEO Kimio Tanaka reaffirming a new Pentax DSLR is in development. A source (Asahiman, per PhotoRumors) puts the release in 2026. On the compact side, the Ricoh GR IV Monochrome is now in stock and has taken both the 2026 Camera GP Editors' Choice Technology Award and the TIPA Best APS-C Compact Camera award. The Pentax KF has been marked discontinued at Japanese retailers.
