Pixelmator Pro is getting a Generate Fill tool in November, part of a broader Apple Creator Studio update. Select an area, type a description, and the tool composites generated content with matching lighting, perspective and texture into existing or new masked layers. Final Cut Pro users get direct round-trip editing: open a still from the timeline in Pixelmator Pro, save, and it syncs back without reimporting. Free for Creator Studio subscribers (US$13/month or US$129/year). The standalone $50 Mac purchase version gets no confirmed access to the feature.
