RocXZoom: 50x Hybrid Zoom Robotic Camera With 2,000mm Equivalent

FarseerTech, a Chinese company started by former DJI engineers, has put the RocXZoom on Kickstarter. It's a compact robotic camera with a 20x optical zoom that stretches to 50x hybrid, covering a 40-2,000mm full-frame equivalent range on a 50MP 1/2.5-inch sensor. The Pro version adds a 5kg-rated two-axis gimbal — mount it with a mirrorless body and long telephoto, and the RocXZoom sits on the hot shoe to handle subject tracking and gimbal control.
