Sigma engineers have filed patents for a 180mm f/1.4 and a 100mm f/1.25, two focal length and aperture combinations that have never shipped from any manufacturer. Worth knowing they're thinking about it. Not worth clearing shelf space. Patent filings are where optical engineers sketch wild ideas, most of which never see glass cut or barrel machined. The source article is basically a comment-bait post asking if you'd buy them, which tells you everything about the substance here. File it under 'interesting' and move on.
