The a7R VI and a1 II aren't competing for the same job, and treating them as direct rivals just creates noise for photographers trying to make a real purchase decision. If you shoot high-resolution commercial work, architecture, or large-format print, the a7R VI is built for you. If you shoot sport, wildlife, or anything that moves fast and pays per keeper, the a1 II is the answer. The specs overlap enough to cause confusion, but the use cases don't. Know which problem you're actually solving before you read another comparison.
