Sony A7S IV Registered in China With Wi-Fi 6
auto_awesomePixelfetch Take
Sony has officially registered a new camera in China (code WW261362, via Sony Alpha Rumors), with Wi-Fi 6 confirmed in the filing and Sony Japan listed as applicant. That's thin on specs, but the Wi-Fi 6 detail is worth noting: per SAR, Sony typically reserves it for mid-to-high-end bodies, which is consistent with A7S IV expectations. The A7S III has been out since 2020, so a successor has been a long time coming. No launch date, no pricing, nothing else confirmed yet.
