82 lenses in 15 years is genuinely impressive, but breadth isn't the same as completeness. The gap that actually stings for working photographers is ultra-fast glass — Nikon has the 58mm f/0.95 Noct and Sony has nothing comparable. For event and theatre shooters who live at ISO 3200 and need that extra stop beyond f/1.4, that's a real system limitation, not a spec-sheet footnote. If you're already in the Sony ecosystem, third-party manufacturers are filling some gaps — but not this one.
