Sony announced the ECM-AX10, a 24g USB-C microphone that plugs into a smartphone and records first-order Ambisonics (AmbiX B-format), binaural, or stereo using four omnidirectional capsules. Sony's free Spatial Audio Video Tool app for iOS and Android exports recordings to Eclipsa Audio, binaural, stereo, or four-channel Ambisonics WAV.
