Sony FE shooters wanting a native fisheye are still reaching for adapters or third-party glass after a decade of platform growth. It's a real gap, but this is an opinion piece arguing Sony should act, not news that they will. If you're a skate, surf, or architectural photographer on Sony full-frame, the workaround is Samyang's 12mm f/2.8 fisheye with an adapter. Functional. Not elegant.
