Sony Still Leads. Fujifilm Has the Room's Attention.

Sony won the last decade on specs and ecosystem. The a7 line dragged the industry into full-frame mirrorless, the a9 killed the argument against electronic shutters, and opening the E-mount turned third-party glass into a real market. That legacy is real. But winning the numbers doesn't mean winning the culture, and right now Fujifilm is the brand photographers actually want to talk about. That matters more than it sounds. The brand photographers love is the brand they recommend to clients, to assistants, to anyone buying their first serious kit. If you're a working photographer deciding where to invest in a system, the question isn't just which camera performs best on paper. It's which ecosystem is still growing its community and earning loyalty five years from now.
