The US has imposed a 25% tariff on imported drones under 25kg, with the order signed and taking effect in 21 days. Thermal and heavy industrial drones cop 100%. This stacks on top of the existing FCC block on new foreign drone approvals, meaning US buyers are now paying more for models that were already frozen at last year's lineup. EU, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and a handful of others are carved out — China isn't.
