Washington Post Photographer Heidi Levine Beaten in West Bank

auto_awesomePixelfetch Take
Heidi Levine, a veteran Washington Post photojournalist with decades of conflict coverage across the Middle East and Ukraine, was hospitalised after masked settlers attacked her during the Palestinian olive harvest near Abu Falah in the West Bank. Footage from fellow journalists shows her surrounded, knocked to the ground, and beaten with sticks while wearing a helmet and a press-marked vest. Her cameras and phone were stolen or destroyed in the attack.
