If your landscape kit tops out at 70mm, you're leaving shots on the table — specifically the compressed, layered mountain shots that only a 400-600mm can isolate from the chaos of a busy ridgeline. Worth a skim if you've never deliberately packed long glass for a landscape trip, but this is well-trodden ground that won't surprise anyone who's already experimented with telephoto landscapes.
