Wildlife Photographer of the Year Shortlist: 100 From 65,000

Wildlife Photographer of the Year has announced its 100-image shortlist, drawn from more than 65,000 entries across 121 countries. The cut includes work by Vegard Byrkjeland Aasen (orcas grieving off Norway), Pietro Rojas (a brown bear in a circus), Audun Rikardsen (polar bear through ice from seal-eye level), Ernest Porter (oxpecker on a rhino), and Jens Cullmann (an African bullfrog missing its prey). Winners announced October 1.
