Viltrox 15mm f/1.7 X-Mount: Does $239 Hold Up at 40MP?
High-resolution sensors punish cheap glass fast. The real question with the Viltrox 15mm f/1.7 isn't whether it's a bargain, it's whether corner sharpness and chromatic aberration hold together on a 40MP X-Trans sensor where every flaw gets printed at full size. At $239, it undercuts Fuji's own wide primes significantly, and if it survives the pixel-peeping test, it becomes a genuinely useful option for architecture, real estate, and travel shooters running X-H2 or X-T5 bodies who don't want to spend lens money on a body upgrade.

Viltrox Adds Silver Finish to Three X-Mount APS-C Lenses
Viltrox has released silver versions of three X-mount APS-C lenses: the 9mm f/2.8, 15mm f/1.7, and 25mm f/1.7. All three cover focal lengths and apertures not currently matched by Fujifilm's own X-mount lineup.
