Viltrox Teases Four L-Mount Air Lenses and Two Fast APS-C Options
Viltrox is bringing four of its lightweight Air series autofocus lenses to L-mount: the 14mm F4, 20mm F2.8, 40mm F2.5 and 50mm F2. That 14mm in particular is notable given how thin the affordable ultrawide AF options are for L-mount shooters. Two new APS-C F1.2 Pro lenses are also coming: an 18mm and a 40mm. Pricing and availability aren't confirmed yet. A new high-power flash was mentioned, but whether it's a speedlight, strobe, or something else is still unspecified.

Viltrox Unveils Seven New Lenses and More at IBC 2026
Viltrox used IBC 2026 to announce seven new lenses across two mount systems. The L-Mount gets four additions in the Air Series: 14mm F4, 20mm F2.8, 40mm F2.5, and 50mm F2.0. The Pro Series expands with a 35mm F1.4 for full-frame, plus 18mm F1.2 and 40mm F1.2 options for APS-C. A new high-power flash and the DC-X4 monitor round out the announcement. No pricing or availability confirmed yet.
