Mandler 35mm F/2 'Seven Elements' M-Mount Lens Opens Third Batch
Third production batch of the Mandler 35mm F/2 Seven Elements is now available for Leica M mount, after two prior runs sold out within days. Seven-element, five-group double-Gauss design with a low-dispersion element and multi-layer coatings, priced well below original Summicron examples on the used market.

Mandler Announces 50mm f/1.4 PRE-ASPH E46 for Leica M-Mount
Mandler is announcing a 50mm f/1.4 E46 PRE-A for Leica M-mount, due in July. It's a spherical design modelled on the Leica SUMMILUX-M 1:1.4/50 PRE-ASPH E46 from the 1990s, itself a refined version of the 1960s E43. Mandler put the design through four optical revisions and five rounds of prototyping. Pricing and full specs are yet to be confirmed.
