Laowa 4.5-10mm f/2.8 CF Zoom Fisheye Announced for APS-C
A zoom fisheye at constant f/2.8 is a genuinely unusual combination. Most fisheye shooters are stuck with primes, so the ability to pull back from full fisheye distortion at 10mm to the extreme barrel of 4.5mm without swapping glass is useful for skateparks, architecture interiors, and action sports where you need creative flexibility fast. No pricing confirmed yet, but Venus Optics has a track record of undercutting brand-name equivalents hard. Worth watching before you commit to a prime fisheye.

Laowa 4.5-10mm f/2.8 Zoom Fisheye Officially Lands for RF-S and MFT
A zoom fisheye that actually zooms across creative territory: full circular at 4.5mm, diagonal frame-fill at 10mm, constant f/2.8 throughout. Canon RF-S and MFT mount at launch. For skate, surf, event, or architectural shooters on crop sensor bodies, this replaces two specialty primes with one compact lens. Laowa keeps chipping away at niche gaps the big manufacturers ignore, and a zoom fisheye at this aperture for APS-C is genuinely one of them. Price and shipping date still to confirm.
