SG-Image just put four AF lenses on the table for Fujifilm shooters, and the one that matters most is the 75mm f/1.2 for GFX. Fast autofocus glass for medium format is genuinely rare, and if SG-Image delivers on AF performance and build, this challenges the price ceiling that's kept a lot of GFX owners shooting slower glass. The X-mount trio rounds out coverage of the primes most Fuji shooters actually use. No pricing yet, no hands-on data, but the direction is clear: third-party manufacturers are taking Fujifilm's ecosystem seriously at both ends.

Yongnuo just shipped two full-frame AF primes, 85mm and 35mm, both at f/1.4. If you've been watching the third-party lens market grind down the price of fast glass, this is the next data point. Yongnuo isn't Sigma or Tamron in terms of optical pedigree, but they're turning out autofocus primes at price points that matter to photographers who need a portrait or event workhorse without the Sony G Master or Canon RF tax. The f/1.2 announcement for later this year is the more interesting signal: budget-tier manufacturers are now chasing the same aperture specs as flagship glass. Whether the optics and AF reliability hold up on real jobs is the question, but if you shoot events, portraits, or low-light corporate work on Sony E-mount and you're price-sensitive, these are worth watching for early user reports.

Meike has shared a new AF lens development roadmap covering eight lenses, including their first full-frame zooms: a 24-70mm f/2.8 and a 70-180mm f/2.8. Also on the list are two GFX-mount Fujifilm medium format primes (65mm f/1.4 and 110mm f/1.8), a 50mm f/1.2 VCM, an 85mm f/1.2 VCM, a 35mm f/1.4, and a 100mm f/2.8 macro. No mounts confirmed yet, but per L-Rumors, L-mount versions of Meike's current lineup are already in production.
