Optical Limits has reviewed the Meike AF 85mm f/1.4 MIX II for Nikon Z-mount, a native-AF portrait prime from a Chinese brand that's been quietly building out its lineup. Meike isn't as well known here as Viltrox or Laowa, but they've been at it for a while and the MIX II sits in the budget end of the 85mm f/1.4 market. If you're shooting Nikon Z and want a fast portrait prime without paying Nikkor or Sigma prices, the review is worth your time before pulling the trigger.

Meike AF 85mm f/1.4 MIX II Lands on Nikon Z-Mount for $569
Meike's updated AF 85mm f/1.4 MIX II is now shipping for Nikon Z-mount at $569 USD. Second-gen version adds Hyperb STM autofocus, APO glass for reduced chromatic aberration, a click/de-click aperture ring with lock, and an Fn button, all in a 650g body. Three colour options: black, white, and panda.

Meike AF 85mm f/1.4 MIX II Launches for L, E and Z Mount at $569
Meike's AF 85mm f/1.4 MIX II is now officially on sale for L, E and Z mounts at USD $569 via the Meike store, with Amazon and B&H availability coming shortly. Three colour options: black, white, and a black/white 'panda' finish. The lens runs STM autofocus, weighs roughly 650g, and ships with a click/de-click aperture ring plus an aperture lock and Fn button.
