    Meike AF 85mm f/1.8 Coming to Fujifilm GFX Mount

    GFX shooters have always paid a premium for autofocus glass. Meike just showed hands-on images of their AF 85mm f/1.8 for the GFX mount at China P&E, and if it performs anywhere near their existing versions for other systems, it's a legitimate working lens at a fraction of the Fujinon price. This is only their second AF lens for the platform. No pricing or release date confirmed yet, but the direction is clear: third-party makers are moving into medium format AF territory, and that matters for portrait and commercial photographers who want GFX resolution without locking every dollar into first-party glass.

It uses an in-house STM stepping motor, 11 elements in 7 groups, 11 aperture blades, 0.65m minimum focus distance, and weighs 406g with a 62mm filter thread. Orders are opening soon through Meike's store, B&H, and Amazon — pricing not yet confirmed.
