Panasonic's DC-L10 is a new enthusiast compact built around a 26.5MP BSI Four Thirds sensor with a fixed 24-75mm equiv. F1.7-2.8 optically stabilised lens, phase-detect AF, 5.2K open-gate video, and a fully articulating 3-inch display. Panasonic is calling it the start of a new line rather than a straight LX100 II follow-up, though the shared sensor architecture and market position make the comparison hard to avoid. Available June, USD $1499 in black or silver; a Titanium Gold edition with a few extra accessories runs $1599 from select stores.

F1.7-2.8 motorised zoom with OIS, phase-detect AF with six subject modes, a 2.36M dot OLED viewfinder, fully articulating screen, and 5.2K open-gate video at up to 30p. One UHS-II SD slot. USD $1499 in black or silver; a Titanium Gold special edition with leather strap and auto-opening lens cap runs $100 more from Panasonic direct. Panasonic is calling this the start of a new compact line, not a successor to the LX100 II.

EISA has announced its 2026-2027 winners across 22 categories. Sony Alpha 7 V takes Camera of the Year and the Alpha 7R VI wins Professional Camera; Nikon's Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S II picks up Lens of the Year alongside the new Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II for telephoto zoom. Fujifilm lands two body awards with the X-T30 III and X-E5, Sigma scores three lens categories, and Tamron takes two.
