Canon EOS RP Discontinued in Asia
Canon has officially discontinued the EOS RP in parts of Asia after a six-year run. The RP was Canon's entry point into full-frame RF mount mirrorless, first released in February 2019, and had been quietly disappearing from stock for around six months before the formal confirmation.

Canon EOS RP Officially Discontinued in Japan
Canon's EOS RP has hit end-of-life in Japan, with Canon Direct pulling it from sale and major retailers including Map Camera and Yodobashi showing it as discontinued or sold out. The RF-mount body launched in 2019 as Canon's budget full-frame mirrorless entry point. US stock is still moving at heavy discounts.
