Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 Coming to Nikon Z in July 2026
Cosina has confirmed the Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 for Nikon Z mount, arriving July 2026. Native Z mount with electronic contacts, so it talks to the body for Exif data, 3-axis IBIS, and focus peaking, magnification, and colour-frame focus assist. Full-frame coverage, works on DX bodies too. All-metal helicoid with manual focus only. Fifteenth Voigtlander lens for the Z system.

Voigtländer Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 Confirmed for RF and Z Mount
Cosina Voigtländer's Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 is confirmed for Canon RF and Nikon Z mounts, arriving next month. First shown at CP+ in February, it's now fully spec'd out with sample photos and a release date.

OM-3 Astro, Voigtlander RF 35mm f/1.4, Fujifilm GFX Award
Three separate announcements in one hit: OM System has released the OM-3 Astro, a camera body built specifically for astrophotography. Voigtlander is adding Canon RF mount to the Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 line-up. Fujifilm won the Japan Society of Photographic Sciences Technical Award for the GFX100RF and has announced a GFX Challenge Grant Program for 2026.

Voigtländer Nokton Classic 35mm F/1.4 Hits Pre-Order for Nikon Z and Canon RF
Voigtländer's Nokton Classic 35mm F/1.4 is now up for pre-order through B&H Photo in Nikon Z and Canon RF mounts. First shown at CP+ 2026 in February, the lens uses an 8-element, 6-group formula with intentional uncorrected rendering for a vintage look, a 10-blade aperture, and a minimum focus distance of 0.27m. Fully manual focus, but electronic contacts allow EXIF transmission, IBIS support, and in-camera correction profiles on compatible bodies. The Sony E version has been available since 2018.

Voigtlander's Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 is now available and the Fujifilm Instax Mini 99 Silver Edition has been announced, alongside a note on Instax SQ1 supply shortages. Still in rumour territory: an Insta360 Micro Four Thirds camera, two Fujinon X-mount lens patents (13-80mm f/3.5 and 16-200mm f/2.8-5.6), and a Fujifilm regulatory filing (F260001) that PhotoRumors tentatively links to the X-T6 — all unconfirmed.

Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 Z-mount reviewed by Fred Miranda
Fred Miranda has posted a thorough review of the Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 for Nikon Z-mount. Wide open it renders soft and low-contrast with visible spherical aberration and field curvature; stop down to f/4 and it cleans up substantially, with corners fully resolved by f/5.6-f/8. Miranda rates the Z-mount adaptation as slightly ahead of the VM version for corner performance, and the lens includes electronic contacts for EXIF data.
